Our Goals/Mission
ADVOCATE
- Promote system-wide changes that will benefit ALL the students in the Snoqualmie Valley and its school district.
- Strengthen partnerships between district administration, staff and parents to maximize the awareness and use of research-based best practices that benefit ALL students, including those receiving special education services
and 504 accommodations. - Assure the protection of the civil rights of students with disabilities, those receiving special education services and 504 accommodations to a free and appropriate public education in the least restrictive environment.
CONNECT
- Connect parents, staff and administrators to promote the best education solutions and services for ALL of our community's students including those receiving special education services and 504 accommodations.
- Foster parent involvement by providing opportunities for parents to get to know each other, communicate information, provide education and share opportunities for advocacy.
EDUCATE
- Educate parents and other in the community so that they have the support and resources they need to advocate for equity and meaningful inclusion for all students including those who receive special education services and 504 accommodations.
- Educate parents about the as their legal rights and the rights of their children as afforded through the ADA, IDEA and section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act.
